Did you know, the International Cat Day falls on 8th August? Well, voila! It was initiated by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) to create awareness for homeless cats that are also in need of love and comfort. So, calling all cat-lovers, in commemoration of International Cat Day, here are some feline friendly cafes within Kuala Lumpur and Selangor that are worth the visit.

#1 Purradise Cat Cafe @ TTDI

Built to provide home and shelter to poor kitties, the cafe is a great example of the day’s celebration. Cats of all shapes and sizes – homeless and abandon – are rescued and cared for to their best health here. Cat food for your very own furry friend are also served! #2 Good Meowning Cafe @ Cheras

With a humble menu and a spacious area, the cafe is easily a relaxing one to meet-and-greet with the lovable furries. The play area is visible from the dining area through a glass wall – so children are able to play with the various breeds of cats, whilst remaining in their parent’s line of sight. This cafe is also noted for their intensive care and hospitality for the rescued cats as well as their frequent grooming services that are open to the public.
