Sunway Putra Mall is Malaysia’s First Autism-Friendly Mall

Autism or ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) is a condition; not an illness.

Nurturing a child is indeed no easy task, what more when you wear the parent status. Your days become loaded with tantrums, insecurities, sensitivities, changing behaviours and a variety of characters of all sorts. Encouraging you through it is Sunway Putra Mall’s Autsome Project.

With a bit of revamping in late 2018, the new year brings enhancement with innovation and creativity through existing mall facilities. Common areas offer sensibility by having dimmed lights installed and adjustable audio volume. Notable transformations are the customer care room and parking bay – now a Calm Room and reserved parking space (a parking sticker is required).
